Left Field is thoughtfully and beautifully stocked, offers such a wide range of tools, supplies, plants, seeds, books, know-how and much more in a small space, and is a welcoming and invaluable part of the Foster-Powell community! This is my favorite garden supply store in Portland. Super friendly people working there, that are willing to answer any question. Very fairly priced as well as amazing selection of seeds, starts, established shrubs, fruiting plants, etc. As well as soil and soil amendments. I am glad I live so close, I have no reason to go anywhere else for all of my gardening needs. Thanks

This store is tiny but mighty. Actually it looks small on the outside but it's pretty big inside. The real WIN here is the careful selection- I know they choose great seasonal plants for outdoor growing in Portland (including plenty of edibles and medicinals), they have great soil blends, and their stock is hardy. It seems to fit with the urban homestead vision, adapted perfectly for our microclimate (including some animal feed options). And the staff is pretty awesome- efficient, friendly, knows their stuff. Overall a great garden store in the Foster/ deep SE area.

One of my favorite garden shops in Portland!! Owners are super knowledgeable & friendly, they have everything from chicken feed & chick starting supplies to cat/dog food, garden & native seeds, seed starting supplies, indoor gardening pots and plants, local small batch garden goods, tools, literally EVERYTHING! Pricing is great and it’s such an inclusive vibe.

This place! Wow! The staff is so kind, knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. The products are the best quality possible and the varieties of house plants are absolutely beautiful. So happy to stumble upon it today, cannot wait to keep coming back. They mentioned that they will have more veggies and herbs as spring approaches. Also, the prices are competitive (and your supporting local).
